⦿ WHAT: Active weather ahead! A Western Disturbance is already affecting all of #Pakistan! Expect STRONG THUNDERSTORMS, HEAVY RAIN, HAIL and GUSTY WINDS over the next 2 days and then again during the middle of the week!

In #Balochistan, between tomorrow late morning and Sunday evening, isolated/scattered thunderstorms maybe accompanied with winds in NE Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob) all the way towards western Balochistan (Dalbandin). Winds of 50-75 km/h are possible in #thunderstorms accompanied by hail and moderate to at times heavy rain #showers. NE Balochistan, including Bar Khan and Dera Bugti region is expected to witness at least 1 rounds of thunderstorms during the week accumulating 10-25 mm of RAINFALL. In SW Balochistan including Gwadar and #Turbat there is also a chance of thunderstorm along with rain and strong winds. However, Turbat will remain hot between 30 and 34 C throughout the week warming up to 38 C by the weekend! There is a chance of thunderstorm rain in the entire province including Khuzdar & Bela. In KPK and #Kashmir: Thick clouds are already here, however between tomorrow morning/afternoon and Monday afternoon, at least 2 rounds of thunderstorms is possible in Hazara (#Abbotabad), Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Swat, Kalam, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Bagh and adjoining regions. Expect for DI Khan region, most of KPK is expected to receive decent totals of 20-40 mm this week along with significant hail and gusty winds at times of 50-75 km/h accompanied with thunderstorms. 30-40 mm of RAIN is expected in #Peshawar. this week. #SNOWLINE is expected to be around 7-8000 feet. In #Punjab: Thick #overcast is already here! Between Sunday afternoon/evening to Monday evening, there is a chance of isolated/scattered thunderstorms in almost all of the province! However, in the Potohar region including #Rawalpindi/#Islamabad, Attock & Chakwal, 1-2 rounds of scattered thunderstorms are expected one of which may be accompanied by strong max winds of 60-80 km/h. Hail will also be a threat. 30-50 mm is possible in many parts of the twin cities! In NE Punjab. including #Lahore, Sialkot & #Gujranwala, strong lightning, hailstorm and heavy rainfall is expected accumulations of 25 mm+ possible in many areas! Isolated HEAVY RAINFALL is expected in supercell storms.
Central parts of Punjab are at risk of severe activity including Mianwali, Sargodha, Jhang, Khushab, Chiniot are at risk of strong winds, very heavy downpours, big hail and chance of hailstorm is the highest. rounds of isolated storms accompanied by stormy winds and hail is possible this week. Isolated VERY HEAVY RAINFALL is expected in supercell storms and gusty winds over 90 km/h during thunderstorms is possible.
Accumulating 30-60 mm in isolated locations while only moderate rainfall of 10-15 mm in other regions.

In south Punjab, strong thunderstorm activity and rain/hail showers are expected. Areas south of DG Khan, #Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan regions may see scattered rain showers along with heavy winds and lightning strikes till Monday evening.
#Sindh: Mostly cloudy skies followed by lines of thunderstorms forming over Kirthir Hills in western parts of the province moving into central and upper parts of the province. Areas affected includes, Dadu, Nawabshah, Jacobabad, Larkana, Sukkur. In the southern parts of the province including, #Karachi,#Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas regions, there is a chance of a thunderstorm between tomorrow afternoon and evening and again on Monday. Patchy heavy rain showers are possible with strong winds (40-60 km/h) and thunderstorm.
#Temperatures in #Pakistan will remain slightly BELOW NORMAL this week in most parts except for western parts of Baluchistan where they maybe 2-4 C ABOVE NORMAL.
